Crying In Sequence

[Photo: Amy in the sun. Camera: Graph Check Sequence Camera]

I'd like to apologise for the recent spate of family photos on here recently. It would seem I've not been getting out as much as usual this summer (no surprise really given the 4 month old baby we have), but even when I do, Amy and Jacqui are usually with me. No problem for me as they're my two favourite people, but it does mean my subject matter's a bit more limited than it is usually - although I did spend an hour yesterday afternoon photographing some tomotoes!! The sheer glamour of it. Anyway, this one was taken yesterday morning. Amy was sitting in our bed looking gorgeous so I ran down to get the Graph Check to capture the moment. 2 loading cock-ups, some wasted sheets of precious 57 film and 20 minutes later I was finally ready, but my model had become distinctly grouchy and was no longer in the mood for posing; I took the shot anyway....the light was too good. Sorry Amy!
:-)

On the camera front, I made a nice little home made lens for an old Zenit 35mm SLR that Football Ian gave me. I processed the first film yesterday and am really happy with the results. Inevitably perhaps, they're mostly portraits of Amy; funny that. I'll get one or two of the best ones posted soon. In the meantime I'm trying to sort out a 'Greatest Hits' gallery over at Persistent Vision because the galleries there are a bit of a hodge-podge and aren't exactly showing my shit off in the best light. I reckon it'll take me a year.

I think it's great you took this as she was upset. Babies don't just look cute, they cry lots too, as you know. Great sequence!
