Camera: Graflex RB] This was taken earlier in the year when I was at the RHGS gardens in Wisley, Surrey trying out the Graflex RB. I finally got round to scanning the roll and several others from around the same time last night and was really pleased with some of the results. I've since laid off the RB temporaily as I had two films that came out completely exposed and I need to find out where the fault lies before I waste any more film (pun intended). In the meantime I'm back to square format with the Kiev-60; trying to knock up a modified lens for it. We have a great new collaboration gallery just gone live over at Filmwasters. The theme is Vacant. On the home front, Amy's teething and isn't enjoying it. She's 19 months old now and these should be her last 2 teeth to come through (that is until they all fall out and it starts again), but at least then she'll be talking and stuff so it might be easier to deal with. She's been really lucky so far and hasn't seemed to mind all the other teeth as they arrived, but these last couple have been causing her problems for well over a week. Poor little thing. Jacqui and I finally saw Grizzly Man over the weekend and while we enjoyed it and were glad we watched it, it didn't quite pack the punch that we thought it would after hearing what friends had to say about it. Definitely worth watching though. On a related note we also watched Ice Age 2 and I hold my hands up here...I laughed myself silly. Received wisdom is that it's not as good as the first one, but I thought part 2 was hilarious. I'm playing more and more guitar finally and starting to write new songs (both acoustic and quiet). That can't be bad. Also, some guy mailed me a bootleg Bad Dress Sense 7' pressed on clear vinyl (in New Zealand I think). Now there are many, many measures of fame and success, but I don't care about any of them now that someone sent me a clear vinyl bootleg of my first band from the other side of the world.
